Just got back from the shop. They were able to get the mount pretty close to factory spec. Went from 917 mm referenced from driver mount to passenger crossmember to 943 mm. The opposite side measurement is 940. I'm pretty sure I can live with 3 mm variance, but the alignment (scheduled tomorrow) will tell me for sure.

He went on to say how strong the Dakota frames are, and that they had to use two booms instead of their usual one to get it back in place. All I know is that it looks TONS better. There's no noticeable difference from the eyeball measurements. The weld looks factory and not artificially built up. I now have a good bit of negative camber. Things are looking good for ol' Dolly.

So far, Karas Collision has made good. No extra cash to fix the "misunderstanding". They were personable and thorough with the explanations this time. My reviews will go from "rather scathing" to "slightly cautionary"
